YHWH, The God of the Bible/Torah, is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and all that exists within them. Most people refer to the God of the Bible as simply "God" or the "LORD God". The title "God" is a generic and universal term that refers to anything that is worshipped as a supernatural entity.

The Hebrew word for the title "God" as well as the plural term for any generic "god" is ELOHIM.

Exodus 7:15-17 KJV - 15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand. 16 And thou shalt say unto him, YHWH ELOHIM of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. 17 Thus saith YHWH, In this thou shalt know that I [am] YHWH: behold, I will smite with the rod that [is] in mine hand upon the waters which [are] in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

The pronunciation of the name of the Most High YHWH is a highly debated topic amongst Bible/Torah scholars as well as non-believers.

With that being said, instead of focusing on what divides us, like the full pronunciation of the Most High's name, MOST Hebrews will agree that we all call on His abbreviated proper name, YAH.

Psalm 68:4 NKJV: Sing to ELOHIM, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him.

WHY DOES THE BIBLE substitue his name?

There has been a concerted effort over several generations to conceal the Most High's name.

The Jews developed a superstitious belief, after the partial return from Babylonian captivity, that the Name of YHWH should be avoided, except for certain occasions in the Temple at Jerusalem. This was done for fear of profaning the Name, and to avoid the Name being used by others. This led to the idea that the Name is “ineffable.” However, this was a pagan doctrine.

Why Don't Jews say G-d's Name?

The word "God" is a title. It's a pagan name used to replace the name of the Most High YHWH ELOHIM. The word "God" is defined as the elohim of fortune. Not the Most High ELOHIM of the Hebrews.

The word G-o-d is a variation of the Hebrew word spelled G-a-d (Strong's H1408).

Let's look at Genesis 30:9-11 in the Bishops Bible from 1568 which is the basis of the King James Version before it was altered:

Genesis 30:9-11 - When Lea sawe that she had left bearyng chyldren she toke Zilpha her mayde, and gave her Jacob to wyfe. And Zilpha Leas maide bare Jacob a son. Then said Lea, Good lucke: and called his name Gad. (God)


We find in the Easy to Read Version (ERV) it says:

Genesis 30:9-11 - Leah saw that she could have no more children. So she gave her slave girl Zilpah to Jacob. Then Zilpah had a son. Leah said, "I am lucky." So she named the son Gad. (God)


For those of you who are familiar with the Basic Bible in English or the (BBE), It reads: 

Genesis 30:9-11 -When it was clear to Leah that she would have no more children for a time, she gave Zilpah, her servant, to Jacob as a wife. And Zilpah, Leah's servant, gave birth to a son. And Leah said, It has gone well for me: and she gave him the name Gad. (God)

The Name "LORD" is an abomination as well. It is a replacement title and not the Name of the Most High YAH. The title "LORD" derives from the Hebrew word BAAL, which means "Lord" or "Master", yes, but mainly "Lord or LORD" refers to the worship of Satan masquerading in the form of a bull or a Centaur (Half man/Half Bull) named baal.

YHWH is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. To the Hebrew, He is our Heavenly Father. YHWH has given us Ten Commandments to live by, as well as statutes, of which Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA) confirms by summarizing these commandments into two categories:

Matthew 22:37 KJV - Jesus (YAHUSHUA) said unto him, Thou shalt love YHWH thy ELOHIM with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

WHAT IS THE HEBREW FAITH?

Simply put, the Hebrew faith involves having an intimate relationship with the Most High YHWH. This is done by keeping His commandments, not for salvation, but by striving to walk according to His ways and not our own. Furthermore, by acknowledging the birth, death, and resurrection of YHWH's son, Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA), for the remission of our inherited sins from Adam and Eve.

In the same way there are many different denominations of Christianity due to the tares sown by the adversary, there are also several different divisions in the Hebrew community as well. So, it is fair to say that not all Christians share the same interpretation of the Bible, in the same way not all Hebrews share the same interpretations.

The basis of the Hebrew Faith is that our Heavenly Father, the Most High God, whom we know as YHWH ELOHIM, entered into a covenant with our fathers Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 17, and Jacob in Genesis 28:


The Covenant with Abraham (Genesis 17:4-8 KJV)

4 As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a ELOHIM unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their ELOHIM.


The Covenant with Isaac (Genesis 17:19-21 KJV)

19 And ELOHIM said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him. 

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. 

21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.


The Covenant with Jacob (Genesis 28:10-15 KJV)

10 And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. 

11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put [them for] his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. 

12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God (YHWH) ascending and descending on it. 

13 And, behold, YHWH stood above it, and said, I [am] YHWH the ELOHIM of Abraham thy father, and the ELOHIM of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 

14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

The Hebrew Faith is also an Identity Claim. When you identify as a Hebrew, you are stating that you are a recipient of the inheritance of YHWH's chosen people, in which He made a covenant with their fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

In today's world there exists an Identity Crisis in which there are more than one people groups claiming to be the heirs of the covenant between YHWH and His chosen people.

Regardless of the politics, there are certain identifiers that set apart YHWH's chosen people from the rest of the nations. YHWH's chosen people transgressed against the Most High's covenant, by worshipping other idols and disobeying His commandments.

Psalm 44:11-14 KJV

11 Thou hast given us like sheep [appointed] for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen. 

12 Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase [thy wealth] by their price. 

13 Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. 

14 Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.


WHAT does the word hebrew mean?

The term Hebrew refers to the descendants of Eber. Historically, the term Hebrew was an Ethnicity claim.

Genesis 14:13 KJV - 13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these [were] confederate with Abram.

Genesis 41:12 KJV - 12 And [there was] there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

Exodus 2:7 KJV - 7 Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?

DO YOU HAVE TO BE AN ISRAELITE TO BE HEBREW?

Israelites and Gentiles can both keep the Hebrew faith. 

Isaiah 56:6-8 KJV

6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHWH, to serve him, and to love the name of YHWH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. 

8 YHWH ELOHIM which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather [others] to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

are all israelites hebrew?

Not all Israelites are Hebrew, there are some Israelites who, by definition, are the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but do not keep the Hebrew Faith. There are atheist Israelites, agnostic Israelites, Catholic and Muslim Israelites to name a few, just like there are atheist, agnostic, Catholic, and Muslim Gentiles as well.

WAS JESUS (YAHUSHUA) born ON DECEMBER 25TH?

PRESENTING THE CASE FOR WHEN JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSHUA THE MESSIAH) WAS BORN AND RESURRECTED

1.       The Lord (YHWH) is the God (ELOHIM) of the Hebrews - Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. (Exodus 7:15-16)

2.       Jesus has assured salvation for all nations, tongues, and tribes. (Romans 1:16, 

 Revelation 7:9)

3.       Jesus was a Hebrew (Luke 1:32-33, Luke 3:23-38, Hebrews 7:14)

4.       Jesus kept the Sabbath and the Biblical Feast Days (Leviticus 23, Luke 2:41-42)

5.       Jesus is the fulfillment of all the Feast Days (1 Cor 5:7, Mark 2:27-28, Hebrews 9)

6.       All Nations will have to keep the Feast of Tabernacles (Zechariah 14:16-17)

The Feast of Tabernacles is the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ, as well as the future Marriage Feast of the Lamb. (Revelation 19:7-9). Jesus could not have been born during the winter month of December for a couple of reasons:

#1 Weather

Luke 2:8 provides some clues that help us understand the geographical setting of the visit of the shepherds at Jesus’ birth and the time of year of Jesus’ birth:

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. (NIV, emphasis added)

Shepherds would not have been outdoors, through the night, with their sheep, during the winter months. That was the rainy season, and would have been the time when crops would be growing in the fields.

#2 The Timing of Elisabeth and Mary’s Pregnancies

Luke 1:5, KJV - There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

Zecharias was of the tribe of Levi, so he was a priest. He was assigned priestly duties during the course of Abia, which would have occurred in the Fourth Month of the Hebrew Calendar. We find this priestly responsibility in 1 Chronicles 23:3-6 and 1 Chronicles 24.

The Passover usually came around the end of March or the beginning of April by our modern calendars. So, the eighth course of "Abia," would have been expected to occur around the end of July (from mid-month to its end). It would have been after this that Zacharias returned home, and if conception happened shortly thereafter, John could be expected roughly nine months later, around March/April of the following year.

Elisabeth and Mary’s pregnancies are clearly defined as being 6 months apart. Mary’s pregnancy was 6 months behind her cousin Elisabeth. Since John was born in March/April, which is the first Hebrew Month Abib, this would mean that Jesus was born 6 months later in September/October, which would be Tishri, the Seventh Month on the Hebrew Calendar.

When we look at the precepts in the Old Testament, to support the claim that Jesus was born on the First Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, we find several indicators to support this claim:


Leviticus 23:34, 39 KJV - 34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month [shall be] the feast of tabernacles [for] seven days unto YHWH. ... 39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto YHWH seven days: on the first day [shall be] a sabbath, and on the eighth day [shall be] a sabbath.


1.      Leviticus 12:2-4 KJV  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.  (3)  And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.  (4)  And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.


a.Luke 1:57-60 KJV  Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.  (58)  And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.  (59)  And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.  (60)  And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.


b.       Luke 2:21-23 KJV - 21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. 22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present [him] to YHWH; 23 (As it is written in the law of YHWH, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to YHWH;) (33 days)


c.       Luke 3:21-23 KJV - 21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. 23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age…


d.       Jesus’ Public Ministry was about 3 ½ years long (see link below) He was 33 yrs old.

 i.      There was a Passover in Jerusalem at the start of his public ministry (John 2:13, John 2:23).

 ii.     There was a Passover in Galilee midway through his public ministry (John 6:4).

 iii.    There was a final Passover in Jerusalem at the end of his public ministry, that is, the time of his crucifixion (John 11:55; John 12:1)


Jesus is the Most High YHWH in the Flesh

In Exodus 24 -26, we come across a scene in which the glory of the Most High God (YHWH or YAH for short) abode upon Mount Sinai, and during a period of 40 days and 40 nights He gave Moses instruction to speak unto the children of Israel to make offerings unto Him and to build a sanctuary/tabernacle for the glory of the Most High YHWH to dwell among them.

When we read the New Testament, we learn that Jesus is the tabernacle that “tabernacled” with us. The Hebrew word for Tabernacle is Mishkan (Strong’s H4908), which literally means “a dwelling place”. The Tabernacle was a temporary place for the glory of YHWH to dwell in. Let’s take a look at some scripture that describes Jesus as the Tabernacle of YHWH:

Matthew 1:23 NKJV - 23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." (EL short for ELOHIM translates to God in English)

Colossians 1:15 -17 KJV He is the image of the invisible God (ELOHIM), the firstborn of every creature:  (16)  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  (17)  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.


John 1:1 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God (ELOHIM), and the Word was God (ELOHIM). 

John 1:14 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV For God (ELOHIM), who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God (ELOHIM) in the face of Jesus Christ (YAHUSHUA the Messiah).

The Body is a Tabernacle/Temple/Sanctuary of ELOHIM

John 2:19-21 KJV -  Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.  (20)  Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?  (21)  But he spake of the temple of his body.

1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV -  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God (ELOHIM), and ye are not your own?



The Day of First Fruits is the True Day of Christ’s Resurrection

In 1 Corinthians 15:4, Paul writes that Jesus rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures. Yet, what Old Testament text predicted a third day resurrection?  Well, by calling Christ’s resurrection a firstfruit, Paul echoes Leviticus 23.

Leviticus 23:9–14 (ESV): 9 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest, 11 and he shall wave the sheaf before YHWH, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to YHWH. 13 And the grain offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to YHWH with a pleasing aroma, and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin. 14 And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your ELOHIM: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

You can see how Leviticus 23:9-14 is an Old Testament text that pointed to Jesus’s resurrection on the third day.
